“Crimson Hills (small)” captures the warm, luminous atmosphere of autumn landscapes — soft hills in shades of crimson, rose, and plum, touched by gentle light. Transparent layers of color melt into one another, creating a quiet depth reminiscent of calm, color-soaked evening hours.

The heavily diluted acrylics give the painting a watercolor-like lightness. Layer by layer, a subtle dialogue of movement and stillness emerges, inviting you to pause and breathe. I often paint with my hands to stay in direct, intuitive contact with the canvas and what is unfolding on it.

“Crimson Hills (small)” is part of the Autumn Glow collection — a series about the radiance of autumn: light, mist, warmth, and the soft calm of transition.

I call this process Meditative Art: a slow, attentive way of painting that reveals itself as quiet, clear presence in the finished work.
