"Layers of Light" is an invitation to stillness. Within the "Light & Airy" series, this piece represents the power of gentleness. The fluid layers evoke the light breaking through morning mist—an anchor for your home, created to soothe the nervous system and offer a space of "Atemruhe" (breathing stillness).

The Process: Co-creation with the Elements

As with all my works, I have completely moved away from using brushes. Instead, I use water as my medium, guiding the pigments exclusively with my hands through the fluid flow.

This intuitive process allows the paint to form organic edges reminiscent of natural phenomena like ocean currents or veils of mist. It is a dance between intention and surrendering to gravity.
