Valley of Light

“Valley of Light” – Meditative Art in luminous autumn tones

Acrylic on canvas | 50 × 60 cm (19.7 × 23.6 in)

“Valley of Light” captures the quiet radiance of color and light – like a valley in the morning mist, bathed in warm reds, rose, and plum. The transparent layers of paint flow gently into one another, like air and earth in the interplay of light, creating a serene depth full of warmth and clarity.

The highly diluted acrylic paints create a watercolor-like transparency. Layer by layer, a harmonious dance of movement and stillness emerges, drawing the gaze inward. I often paint with my hands – this creates a direct, intuitive connection to the canvas and to the moment.

“Valley of Light” is part of my series of meditative landscapes, which are dedicated to the quiet transitions in nature – light, mist, color, and the rhythmic calm of change.

I call this way of painting Meditative Art: the process of painting is a form of mindfulness for me, a pause in the flow of movement – and this tranquility is transferred to the finished work.

Ideal as a warmly glowing wall piece – an artwork that brings depth, serenity, and harmony into any room.
