“Crimson Hills 2” – Meditative Art in Radiant Shades of Red

“Crimson Hills” reveals the gentle rhythm of color and light – a quiet dialogue between depth and transparency, reminiscent of hills glowing in the evening sun. Layers of crimson, blush, and plum flow into one another like mist over a tranquil landscape, creating an atmosphere of warmth and calm.

The highly diluted acrylics evoke a watercolor-like lightness. Layer by layer, a delicate transition unfolds between movement and stillness. I often paint with my hands – allowing a direct, intuitive connection between color, canvas, and the present moment.

“Crimson Hills” is part of my series of large-scale meditative landscapes that explore nature’s quiet transitions – light, depth, and the rhythmic calm of change.

I call this way of painting Meditative Art: the process itself becomes a form of inner stillness, and that sense of calm flows into the finished work.
