Waterside

The painting "Waterside" is part of my "Summer Haze" collection, which depicts delicate landscapes and lakes in pink and purple tones. The viewer can choose whether to view the landscape in the early morning or late evening, but it is clear that the light is dimmed and the sky is bathed in beautiful rosy-orange tones.

The picture is framed and delivered in a trendy shadow frame made of linden wood.

It's my great passion to use highly diluted acrylic paints to achieve a delicate, transparent watercolor look. The lightness of the colors and the translucent layers are what make these paintings so magical.
I prefer to paint without a brush, using my hands instead, so I can be in direct contact with the canvas and the paint. This is how I best feel what I want to create on the canvas.

This painting technique can only be practiced with a great deal of calm and patience. For me, it's a wonderful form of meditation, which is why I call my art meditative art. I convey the peace and relaxation I feel while painting into my pictures, and hopefully, through them, to the viewer as well.
